Then select any ZIP from you computer. ZIP has to contain at least one *.html file; it can also contain all other files that are necessary.

  • Upload a Studio Project ZIP

A Studio Project ZIP is either a HTML5 banner template or a banner that is exported from the HTML5 Studio.

You can use Project ZIPs to:

    • Save the banner from the HTML5 Studio to your local computer.
    • Share the banner as a template with others.
    • Send it to a media agency for trafficking or upload it to Adform Platform yourself (Adform accepts these ZIPs as a "Toolkit Ad").
  • Upload an Asset ZIP

Asset ZIP – a well known format that is being used when preparing an HTML5 Ad for Adform. It is a ZIP that contains manifest.json and at least one *.html file in it.

    1. Upon upload of an Asset ZIP, the HTML5 Studio automatically detects banners width, height, clickTags, and events that are described inside the manifest.json.

    2. You will be asked to select the correct banner category and format. HMTL5 Studio presents the same categories and formats that are available in the Adform platform; selecting the right format can help rendering the exact preview with a specific behavior that is enabled for each category or format. For example, banners with Mobile (Mobile, Mobile Rising Stars Ad Units) category are rendered using the MRAID technology.

    3. After selecting the category and format you will be redirected to the Banner Workspace screen. This window instantly presents banner settings on the left side of the screen. You can add additional clickTags, events or change already defined properties. Clicking on the Save button instantly refreshes the preview of a banner.

  • Upload any other ZIP with HTML content

HTML5 Studio allows uploading any ZIP that contains at least one *.html file in it. Upon upload of such banner, you will have to define various properties of a banner, such as width, height, clickTags, events, etc. Toolkit's Code Editor will allow updating a banner so that it would work with Adform's clickTags, events, additional assets and other Rich Media components.

Files that are not supported by Adform Platform are automatically removed during the ZIP upload. That also means removing Mac OS X specific files such as *.DS_Store and similar.
