Baseboard Ad

 

This is a nice looking baseboard video format for Desktop and Tablet environments. Banner is rendered when VAST tag is loaded, either from PMP inventory or directly from VAST. Banner width can be customized, and height will be auto adjusted based on original video's aspect ratio. Video sound can be toggled by hovering over banner or clicking on mute icon.

  • How to get started?
    • Contact pod.video@adform.com.
    • Custom tag is generated (several lines of JavaScript, same as standard Adform tags).
    • PMP or VAST IDs need to be inserted as a parameter in custom tag.
    • Additionally banner width needs to be specified as a parameter as well. Banner then will auto resize in height.
    • Publisher has to integrate the tag into the website.

    ***** - PMP In-Stream Placement Master Tag ID. When creating In-Stream placement in the PMP you should assign a creative that has MP4 and WEBM as required file types.

    NOTE: If the banner is supposed to run on mobile placements as well MPG video must be assigned to in-stream banner for autoplay functionality to work on mobile devices.

     

  • Additional parameters
    • data-pmp-id - PMP master tag ID;
    • data-vast-id - (OR) VAST tag BN (either PMP or VAST must be defined to show the ad);
    • data-custom-width - insert either a fixed width in pixels (600px) or percentage of screen (50%). Note: minimum banner width is 320px.
    • data-custom-expanded-width - insert either a fixed width in pixels (600px) or percentage of banner size (e.g. 200% means that expanded banner will be 2x bigger than collapsed). Note: Expanded width must be greater than its collapsed value.
    • data-expand-delay - allows to set delay for expand function in banner once user "mouse-overs" on banner. Parameter should be defined in milliseconds (1000ms = 1s). Note: minimum delay is 0s (negative numbers are not allowed).
    • data-collapse-delay - allows to set delay for collapse function in banner once user "mouse-outs" off banner. Parameter should be defined in milliseconds (1000ms = 1s). Note: minimum delay is 0s (negative numbers are not allowed).
    • data-unmute-delay - allows to set delay for unmute function in banner once user "mouse-overs" on banner. Parameter should be defined in milliseconds (1000ms = 1s). Note: minimum delay is 0s (negative numbers are not allowed).
